How do I install virtial radiography?
Simply obtain a copy of the installer from our download page and run it on the target machine.
Can I install the software on a network drive?
Theoretical it would be possible but as the CT data used to generate the radiograph must be accessed each time an exposure is made, it would significantly impact response times.
How can I change the "your logo here" image to my institutions logo?
Simply replace the "wall_logo.bmp" located in "C:\Program Files\shaderware\VirtualRadiography\runtime\media\textures" with your own logo. The logo needs to be a ".bmp" type image file, 256 by 256 pixels in size. Other sizes will be accepted but image quality mat be affected.
I have a real brute of a graphics card, how can I use its spare capacity to generate a better image ?
The resolution of the simulated radiograph is controled by parameters in the configuration file and can be set to any value. The default is 512 by 512 which is suitable for the lower capacity cards. If you wish you increase this by altering the following parameters in the config file for each module.
The config files are located in "C:\Program Files\shaderware\VirtualRadiography\runtime\modules".
Amend the viewportSize tag to the desired value.
